About Studio Burgoon

Austin Interior Designers

At Studio Burgoon, we partner with homeowners, architects, and contractors to bring high-end residential properties and boutique hospitality spaces to life.

Our interiors are cohesive and functional with an emphasis on organic and sustainable elements that bring depth and intrigue into your space. We mix antiques with modern handcrafted heirlooms and our aim is to create elevated, compelling spaces that reflect the personal sensibilities of our clients while also being matched for their present and future lifestyle. Our projects demonstrate exceptional taste and an understanding of the subtleties between timeless design and a home you can truly live in. We create spaces that tell our clients' stories, designing homes that furnish a life well-lived, reflect a life well traveled, and in hospitality spaces that depict the inspiring narrative of a brand's story.

Ali Burgoon Nolan

PRINCIPAL DESIGNER & OWNER

Ali Burgoon Nolan Austin Interior Designer

Ali is an interior designer in Austin with a deep appreciation for art, culture and design. A native Chicagoan, Ali grew up in a large close-knit family with German, Irish and English roots. She draws inspiration from the remarkable craftsmanship of her uncle's vintage cars and English Tudor homes, which has instilled her passion of bespoke furniture design.

Ali’s aesthetic is influenced by design from around the world, particularly Scandinavian, English and Italian design, and she enjoys mixing styles, patterns and prints to create curious spaces. A true lifelong learner, she enjoys researching and learning from the design greats who have come before and consistently keeps up with the latest design publications. A restless dreamer and schemer, she loves imagining new creative avenues for her studio to explore. In her free time, she shoots film photography, travels and visits her family spread across the globe.

Before starting her practice in 2023, Ali built a strong foundation in luxury residential design under Fern Santini (Austin), and worked in hospitality design with The Gettys Group (Chicago), Gensler (Austin) and Bunkhouse Group (Austin). She has a B.S. Architectural Studies from University of Missouri and is NCIDQ Certified (Registered Interior Designer).
